It seems to be getting harder to fool our audiences as they learn more and more about our methods and technology. Authors and creators of magic find themselves having to work harder to keep new books and products within the industry and out of the reach of the public. You Tube reveals are rife and as new generations grow, there sits a wealth of information about how we do it. So what can be done to change things, bring back the circles of secrecy and camaraderie. My book has a contract of secrecy that magicians can sign and photograph. This can then be displayed on the website under 'Promises' showing who the truer magicians are. It was just an idea, what do you think we can do to keep our secrets inside the industry?

Great idea, what most reveals do not do is teach well or instill ethics into our profession, or hobby
I am saddened by the new need to 'share' without credit and leaving creators of magic bereft of neither acknowledgement of financial reward for their hard work
